Mount Pete with 33 pounds

John, Joan and I made it to the top in 90 minutes. I was packing 33 pounds, most of it in a weight vest. It rained toward the end of the day, but not too heavily. I dressed a little too light, but I had backups. At the end of the day, going back to my car to retrieve my phone, I tripped on an uneven part of the sidewalk and skinned my left hand and right knee. It could have been worse.

Statistics for the day:
Distance: 1.8 miles round trip, from trailhead (WTA*), Mount Pete, Enumclaw
Conditions: Cool, overcast, rain
Load: 33 pounds
Elevation gain: 1,000 feet

Statistics, year to date:

Distance: 75.1 miles
Elevation gain: 22,890 feet. 5,932 feet until my second Rainier.
